MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA PAPAN PECAHAN KELAS V DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH AL-FALAH LIMBOTO BARAT

This research aims to improve the problem solving abilities of class V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Falah Limboto Barat through the implementation of Fraction Board learning media. The method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles, including four learning sessions. Data collection is carried out through observation techniques, tests and comprehensive documentation. The research subjects included all class V students with a total of 17 subjects, consisting of 10 male students and 7 female students. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of Fraction Board media has a significant impact on increasing problem solving abilities. This is evidenced by substantial progress from the initial conditions which showed a relatively low percentage of 24%, experienced an increase in cycle I reaching 59%, and reached culmination in cycle II with a percentage of 88%, with an average value reaching 81.9%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that this research has exceeded the success indicator set at 75%.
