MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI PECAHAN CAMPURAN DI KELAS V

This study examines the use Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach in enhancing mastery of mixed fraction materials among fifth-grade students at SDN 02 Limboto. Employing Classroom Action Research (CAR) framework with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, the research was conducted in two learning cycles involving 26 students as research subjects. Each cycle encompassed a structured series of activities from planning and implementation to observation and evaluative reflection. Data analysis revealed significant transformation in learning outcomes, where student mastery rates progressively improved from an initial condition of 31%, advancing to 50% after the first cycle implementation, and ultimately reaching 80% upon completion of the second cycle. This achievement confirms the success of the PBL model in facilitating understanding of mixed fraction concepts, as evidenced by the substantial improvement in student learning outcomes.
