DEVELOPMENT OF JUMP NUMERACY LKPD BASED ON DISCOVERY LEARNING TO IMPROVE MOTIVATION OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

Less interactive learning is often a problem, because students are less motivated to follow the learning. For that, appropriate learning tools are needed to achieve learning objectives, one of which is the Student Worksheet (LKPD). LKPD is a printed learning resource presented in a paper sheet format containing material, summaries, and instructions for implementing student tasks. Thus, the Discovery Learning-based Jump Numeracy LKPD was developed with valid, practical, and effective categories in order to increase student motivation in learning. The type of research used is research and development. The model used is the Plomp model, which has three stages of research. These stages are initial investigation, prototype design, and assessment. For the product validity test by the validator using a validity questionnaire, for practicality, using a questionnaire assessed by the teacher and an effectiveness questionnaire assessed by students of class IIIB SDN 03 Kinali Pasaman Barat. The results of this study indicate that the Discovery Learning-based Jump Numeracy LKPD developed obtained the following results. First, product validation obtained a score of 90% with a very valid category; the results of product practicality obtained a score of 96% with a very practical category; and the results of effectiveness obtained a score of 89% with a very effective category. This LKPD achieves the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective, so it can increase students' learning motivation.
