Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of the media developed so that it can be used in the learning process. The method used in this research is RnD Research and Development using Thiagarajan's modified 4D model. There are three stages used, namely define, design and development. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation, observation and distributing agket. The subjects of this research were teachers and fifth grade students of SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang. The fifth grade students consisted of 14 students, 4 boys and 10 girls. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's response to the media shows a very good response as evidenced by the percentage obtained of 96%. Likewise, the response from students obtained a percentage of 85% with this good response so that the Augmented Reality Assemblr Edu learning media can be said to be valid and practical to use for science teaching.
