Abstract

The problem discussed in this study is how to apply the jarimatics method in Sumalata 3 Public Elementary School. This study uses a type of qualitative research with the approach used is an associative approach. And data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The research results obtained that the application of the jarimatics method to mathematics lessons was carried out in the following stages: The teacher gave an explanation in advance about the jarimatics method; The teacher demonstrates how to count multiplication using the jarimatics method; The teacher divides students into several groups; The teacher coordinates each group; The teacher evaluates students on the use of jarimatika in mathematics lessons.
