Abstract

The success of students in education is measured through their ability to master subject matter. Material mastery is not only knowing and understanding the material, but being able to apply it in life. This study aims to determine the effect of the attainment concept learning model on the mastery of Indonesian language material for students at SDN 1 Limboto Barat. The type of research method used in this research is quantitative research with an experimental approach. The research design in this research is: Intact-Group Comparison. The population in this research was 117 people with a sample of 24 people. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by clustering (Cluster Random Sampling), namely randomizing 24 sample members, determined for the experimental class to be subjects with odd numbers (numbers 1, 3, 5 and so on), while even numbers ( 2, 4, 6 and so on) were included as control classes. The data collection technique uses tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with the t test. The results showed that tcount > ttable (40.2 > 1.71), then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that the learning model of the attainment concept is very effective in increasing the mastery of Indonesian language material for students at SDN 1 Limboto Barat.
