The purpose of this research is to find out the extent of the role of citizenship education teachers in increasing environmental awareness of third grade students of SDN 1 Momalia. The type of research is a qualitative descriptive field research. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research suggests that the role of Civics teachers as educators, instructors, and mentors could increase students' environmental awareness at SDN 1 Momalia. In addition, there are several student behaviors that have been entrenched and reflect environmental awareness.
