STRATEGI PEMBINAAN CALON PENGANTIN BERBASIS MODERASI BERAGAMA DI KUA KOTA TIMUR

Abstract

This research will investigate the religious moderation-based pre-marital counseling strategies conducted by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of East Gorontalo City. The study aims to identify the main components of such counseling, evaluate its effectiveness, and explore the obstacles and challenges faced in the process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document studies. Data analysis is conducted using content analysis method. This study will discuss the urgency of pre-marital counseling, the definition and urgency of religious moderation arrangements, as well as the counseling strategies applied by the KUA of East Gorontalo within the framework of religious moderation and its implications. Furthermore, the effectiveness of counseling strategies in enhancing the understanding of religious diversity among prospective couples will be discussed, along with the challenges faced by the KUA of East Gorontalo in implementing these strategies. The results of this research are expected to provide input for the KUA of East Gorontalo in improving the quality of pre-marital counseling and to provide insights for other local governments in developing similar adaptive and inclusive programs.
