JEKSYAH: Islamic Economics Journal welcomes original scholarly manuscripts in Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and related fields that fall within the journal's focus and scope. Authors are expected to comply with the following submission policies before submitting their manuscripts.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the conception or design of the research, data collection, analysis or interpretation, or the development of the manuscript.
All authors must participate in reviewing and approving the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for the integrity and accuracy of their contributions.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible contributors are appropriately listed as authors, that all authors approve the submission, and that no individual who does not meet the authorship criteria is listed as an author. Contributions that do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately.
Changes to the author list after submission must be communicated to the editorial office with a clear explanation and the agreement of all affected authors. The journal reserves the right to request clarification when authorship concerns arise.
JEKSYAH: Islamic Economics Journal considers scholarly manuscripts that contribute to the development of knowledge in Islamic economics and related fields. Submissions should demonstrate academic rigor, a clear research objective, appropriate methodology, and a meaningful contribution to the relevant literature.
The journal primarily considers:
Original Research Articles: manuscripts presenting original empirical or theoretical research, including clear research questions, appropriate methods, findings, and scholarly implications.
Review Articles: manuscripts that critically and systematically examine existing literature, identify research developments or gaps, and provide a meaningful synthesis of previous studies.
All submissions must be original, relevant to the journal's focus and scope, and prepared in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines and manuscript template. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
JEKSYAH: Islamic Economics Journal publishes two issues per year, in May and September.
Manuscripts are processed through editorial screening, peer review, revision, and final editorial assessment. The time required for each manuscript may vary depending on the review process, the nature of revisions, reviewer availability, and editorial considerations.
Acceptance of a manuscript does not automatically guarantee publication in the immediately upcoming issue. The final publication schedule is determined by the editorial team according to the manuscript's readiness and the journal's publication planning.
Authors must follow the journal's Author Guidelines, use the prescribed manuscript template, provide accurate references, and ensure that the manuscript complies with applicable publication ethics requirements.
All submissions are subject to initial editorial screening and the journal's peer-review process. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's scope, quality, formatting, originality, or ethical requirements may be returned for improvement or rejected before external review.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and that all listed authors have approved the submission.
