About the Journal

Mutanaqishah: Journal of Islamic Banking (e-ISSN: 2807-8500) is available online through the Department of Islamic Banking at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. Mutanaqishah publishes and disseminates research on Islamic banking. Academics, scientists, researchers, practitioners, and industry experts can all offer their perspectives on Islamic banking. This journal welcomes manuscripts employing diverse research approaches, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, systematic literature reviews, case studies, and bibliometric analyses. Manuscripts are considered based on their academic quality, methodological rigor, originality, relevance to Islamic banking and finance, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the field. The journal encourages research using appropriate and robust methodologies that align with the objectives, research questions, and theoretical foundations of each study. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scholarly quality, research integrity, and meaningful academic contribution.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia has classified this Journal under the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology Number 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 (Vol 5 No. 1/2025 until Vol. 9 No. 2/2029), which is included in the 3rd highest reputable journal group in Indonesia.
