Publication Model

Mutanaqishah: Journal of Islamic Banking will implement a continuous publication model that is divided into two issues annually beginning in 2025. This publication strategy facilitates expedited dissemination of articles, eliminating the need to await the completion of an issue, so enabling writers to see their work published promptly (source). Upon acceptance, articles will be published online in chronological sequence. This provides substantial advantages to readers by granting swift access to finalized articles, while for authors, it signifies a decreased duration for the publication of their final works (source). This alteration will not affect the official publication procedures in a journal. We continue to implement a rigorous editorial screening and review process for manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Each issue using a continuous publication model will include a maximum of 20 articles.
Issue 1 includes accepted articles during 1 January - 30 June
Issue 2 includes accepted articles during 1 July - 31 December

Upon the completion of 20 pieces in each volume, the author may await the subsequent issue for publication of his writings.
