Article Processing Charges
Mutanaqishah: Journal of Islamic Banking is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers, researchers, and institutions worldwide without subscription fees or access barriers.
To support the sustainability of high-quality scholarly publishing, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 750,000 for accepted manuscripts. This publication fee is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication. No submission fee or review fee is required at any stage of the manuscript evaluation process.
The journal provides an APC waiver for manuscripts involving international research collaboration, particularly articles co-authored by researchers affiliated with institutions from different countries. This policy aims to encourage meaningful global academic partnerships, strengthen cross-country perspectives, expand international research networks, and enhance the contribution of Islamic banking scholarship at the global level.
For authors from Indonesia and other countries, editorial and peer-review decisions remain based solely on the academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution of the submitted manuscript. The APC policy does not influence editorial decisions, which are determined independently through a fair and transparent peer-review process. This journal remains committed to promoting inclusive scholarly communication while supporting the advancement of international collaboration and excellence in Islamic banking research.
