About the Journal

  Assuthur  Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is an open-access journal published by the Arabic Education Department of Postgraduate Program, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The purpose of this scientific journal is to disseminate the knowledge gained as a consequence of the study, and it is available to researchers who wish to increase their understanding in those specific areas. Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is a journal of scholarly research on Arabic language education, linguistics, and literature. It is open to anybody who wishes to acquire information based on credible research in any discipline. Contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation of submitted papers are assessed by anonymous reviewers using double-blind peer review. This publication is issued twice yearly (June and December).

This journal focuses and aims at Teaching and Learning Arabic for Non-Native, Arabic Teaching Curriculum, Arabic Teaching Material, Arabic Teaching Methods, Arabic Teaching Strategy, Arabic Teaching Media, Arabic Teaching Instructional Evaluation and assessment, Arabic Teaching Technology, Information, and Communication Technology for Arabic Teaching, Arabic for Specific Purposes, Arabic Linguistics, Modern Standard Arabic, and Arabic as Second Language Acquisition.

Assuthur : Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab has published Volume 3, No. 2, December 2024. All articles in this edition (5 original research articles) were written by 11 Indonesian authors from several universities (IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo, STIT Sunan Giri Trenggalek, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia).

The research themes are in accordance with the focus and scope of Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, which includes: (1) Analysis of the Mu'jamul 'Arabiyyah Lil Hayah Dictionary, (2) An Analysis of Gorontalo and Arabic Oral Literature: A Contrastive Review to Identify Poetry Types, (3) Implementation of the Muhadatsah Method in Arabic Language Learning, (4)
