This research aims to evaluate the impact of using the Activity-Based Learning Model through the Cooperative Learning Model with the Make to Match Type on the learning motivation of class VII students in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Al Markaz Al Islamy Darul Istiqamah. This research was carried out for one semester in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is classroom action research with two cycles. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of student learning outcomes. The research results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation after implementing the activity-based learning model. Student engagement, positive social interactions, and a variety of learning strategies consistently increase from cycle to cycle. Apart from that, student learning outcomes also achieve completeness that meets the specified success criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the Activity-Based Learning Model through the Cooperative Learning Model with the Make to Match Type has succeeded in increasing students' learning motivation in the Aqidah Akhlak subject.
