Focus and Scope

AKASYAH (Jurnal Akuntansi, Keuangan dan Audit Syariah) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Sharia Accounting, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. This journal focuses on Sharia Accounting, Finance, and Audit. It is published twice a year, in April and October. The journal aims to disseminate research in Sharia Accounting, Finance, and Audit conducted by researchers from both within and outside the country.

Scope:

1. Sharia Accounting Practices: Research on accounting methods and principles that comply with Islamic law, including the application of Sharia standards in financial reporting.

2. Islamic Finance Management: Studies on the management of finances within Islamic institutions, including investment strategies, risk management, and financial planning according to Sharia principles.

3. Sharia Audit Methodologies: Exploration of auditing processes that ensure compliance with Islamic law, including the development of auditing standards and practices specific to Sharia-compliant institutions.

4. Islamic Financial Instruments: Research on the development and use of financial instruments that align with Islamic law, such as Sukuk (Islamic bonds), Islamic insurance (Takaful), and other Sharia-compliant financial products.

5. Regulatory Frameworks in Islamic Economics: Analysis of the legal and regulatory frameworks governing Sharia-compliant financial institutions, including the role of religious authorities and the impact of regulations on Islamic financial markets
