This article examines Qur’anic epistemology through the lens of virtue epistemology as a response to the epistemic crisis of the post-truth era. Previous studies on Qur’anic epistemology have primarily focused on the sources and methods of knowledge, while the dimension of epistemic virtues has received limited attention. This study employs a library research method with a conceptual approach to the Qur’anic verses and contemporary epistemological literature. The findings reveal that Qur’anic epistemology integrates reason, sensory perception, and the heart, with taqwa serving as the epistemic foundation and hikmah as the highest epistemological goal. This framework regards public benefit (maslahah) as an essential criterion of valid knowledge and emphasizes epistemic responsibility, epistemic justice, and intellectual humility. The study demonstrates that Qur’anic epistemology contributes to the discourse of virtue epistemology and provides a normative framework for addressing the challenges of the post-truth era.Unduhan
