The results of the study show that the digital marketing strategy implemented has succeeded in increasing community involvement and the number of donors, which has an impact on the growth of donations and increasing public awareness of the existence of Lazis Al-Haromain Kediri City. In addition, transparency in the distribution of documented donations through social media has helped build public trust in this institution. While the program is effective, there are several challenges such as limited resources in content creation, limited operational funds for paid advertising, and changes in social media algorithms that affect the reach of uploads. Therefore, innovative strategies such as collaborating with influencers, social media optimization, and training digital marketing teams are solutions that can be applied to overcome these obstacles.
2025-05-04T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Siti Mufidatul Azizah, Zuraidah, Ana Duwi Rahayu, Charista Tanta Putri, Nur Avifah https://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/jeksyah/article/view/2654 EVA as a Financial Performance Indicator: A Case Study of Two Islamic Rural Banks in Bengkulu 2025-04-07T10:44:05+08:00 Naurah Zahra naurahzahra188@gmail.com Desi Isnaini desi_isnaini@mail.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id Citra Liza citraliza@mail.uinfasbengkulu.ac.id
This study analyzes the financial performance of BPRS Fadhilah and BPRS Maslahat Dana Syariah Nusantara in Bengkulu City using the Economic Value Added (EVA) method. EVA is selected as a performance indicator because it measures the economic value generated by a company after deducting the cost of capital, providing a clearer picture of value creation for investors and shareholders. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach, using secondary data obtained from the official financial reports of each bank for the 2023 period. In Indonesia, Islamic banks are classified into three categories: Islamic commercial banks, Islamic business units, and Sharia Rural Credit Banks (BPRS). BPRS primarily focus on providing financing to micro and small enterprises, rather than offering standard payment services. The results show that BPRS Fadhilah recorded a negative EVA, indicating a failure to generate economic value for its investors. Conversely, BPRS Maslahat Dana Syariah Nusantara reported a positive EVA, demonstrating its ability to deliver added value and manage capital effectively. These findings highlight the importance of sound capital management and profitability in enhancing the financial performance of Islamic rural banks.
2025-05-04T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Naurah Zahra, Desi Isnaini, Citra Liza https://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/jeksyah/article/view/2650 The Role of Islamic Economics in Indonesia's Growth: Toward Inclusive Development 2025-03-23T22:02:25+08:00 Maharabdinul maharabdinul@gamil.com Andi Mardiana andimardiana@gmail.com Ibah Misbah ibahmisbahh@gmail.com
Islamic economics has emerged as a crucial driver of macroeconomic growth in Indonesia, a country with the world’s largest Muslim population. Over recent years, this sector has demonstrated notable progress, with Islamic banking assets reaching approximately IDR 1,000 trillion in 2024, maintaining a steady annual growth rate of 10-15%. Islamic economics plays a key role in financing small and medium enterprises (SMEs), developing innovative Islamic financial products, and contributing to poverty alleviation efforts. However, challenges persist, including limited public understanding of Islamic financial products, regulatory inconsistencies, and competition with conventional financial institutions. These obstacles hinder the full potential of Islamic economics, but there are significant opportunities, particularly in Islamic investment products and financial technology (fintech), which could serve as catalysts for future growth. Strengthened collaboration between the government, financial institutions, and society is critical to overcoming these challenges and maximizing opportunities for sustainable and inclusive development. This study explores the role, challenges, and prospects of Islamic economics in Indonesia’s macroeconomic growth and provides strategic recommendations to advance the sector towards greater inclusivity and sustainability.
2025-05-04T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Maharabdinul, Andi Mardiana, Ibah Misbah https://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/jeksyah/article/view/2039 Strategic Assessment of BSI Smart Agents: A SWOT Approach to Promoting Financial Inclusion in Cirebon Indonesia 2025-03-24T12:26:10+08:00 Inge Yudian inge.yudian13@gmail.com Haulah Nakhwatunnisa haulahnakhwatunnisa@syekhnurjati.ac.id Abdul Aziz abdul_aziz@syekhnurjati.ac.id
This study analyzes the BSI Smart Laku Pandai program in Cirebon using a SWOT analysis approach, aiming to evaluate the potential and challenges faced by agents in implementing inclusive financial services. The study identifies four types of strategies based on the results of the SWOT matrix, namely SO (Strength-Opportunities), WO (Weaknesses-Opportunities), ST (Strengths-Threats), and WT (Weaknesses-Threats) strategies. The SO strategy focuses on leveraging the strengths of simple and guaranteed products to attract additional income opportunities for agents. The WO strategy seeks to address weaknesses in resources and technology by adding staff and improving service application performance. The ST strategy aims to mitigate external threats by strengthening the relationship between the bank and agents through supervision and education. Lastly, the WT strategy reduces weaknesses and avoids threats by ensuring the availability of services such as savings books and ATM cards, as well as conducting regular surveys of agents. This study provides recommendations for developing and maintaining the quality of Laku Pandai services by strengthening the role of agents at the local level and improving financial and technological literacy within the community. It is hoped that this research can serve as a reference for improving inclusive finance policies in Cirebon and other regions.
2025-05-05T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Inge Yudian, Haulah Nakhwatunnisa, Abdul Aziz https://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/jeksyah/article/view/2649 Halal Lifestyle, Awareness, and Consumer Behavior: Implications for the Halal Food Market in Dayeuh Village, Indonesia 2025-03-16T23:34:39+08:00 Nurul Oktapiani nuruloktapiani439@gmail.com Muhammad Salman Al Farisi salman@binamandiri.ac.id Ermi Herawati ermi@binamandiri.ac.id
This study aims to examine the influence of halal lifestyle and halal awareness on public purchase interest in halal food products. The research focuses on understanding how these factors contribute to consumer behavior in Dayeuh Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed, using a simple random sampling technique to select 100 respondents from the local population. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed statistically. The findings reveal that both halal lifestyle and halal awareness simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on public purchase interest. Consumers with a stronger understanding and commitment to halal principles tend to show greater interest in purchasing halal certified products. The study highlights that limited education about halal concepts remains a major barrier, which affects the level of public interest in halal consumption. Based on these findings, it is recommended that policymakers and stakeholders intensify educational programs and public awareness campaigns on the importance of halal lifestyles and certifications. Furthermore, collaboration between governmental institutions, halal certification bodies, and the food industry is essential to strengthen public knowledge and trust, thereby encouraging greater consumer engagement with halal products.
2025-05-05T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nurul Oktapiani, Muhammad Salman Al Farisi, Ermi Herawati https://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/jeksyah/article/view/1966 Evaluation of PSAK 102 Implementation in Murabahah Financing Accounting: A Case Study of Two Sharia Cooperatives 2025-04-23T17:30:31+08:00 Ruqoyyah Nursyamsi ruqoyyah3011@gmail.com Haulah Nakhwatunnisa haulahnakhwatunnisa@syekhnurjati.ac.id Ridwan Widagdo ridwanwidagdo@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the suitability of murabahah financing accounting treatment based on PSAK 102 at the Alfa Maratus Sholihah Cooperative and Kopsyah Harapan Sejahtera. The research is motivated by the high distribution of murabahah financing at both cooperatives and the need to assess whether this is accompanied by appropriate accounting practices. A qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews and documentation. The data sources include both primary and secondary data, which were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that the accounting treatment of murabahah financing at both cooperatives is generally in accordance with PSAK 102 and shares similar characteristics, particularly in transaction recording. Differences were found in profit recognition and the presentation of murabahah profits. Additionally, neither cooperative implements fines, and the Alfa Maratus Sholihah Cooperative does not apply receivable settlement deductions. Variations also exist in the computerized systems used to record murabahah transactions. It is recommended that both cooperatives improve compliance by incorporating all aspects outlined in PSAK 102, especially in terms of profit recognition and receivable management mechanisms.
2025-05-05T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ruqoyyah Nursyamsi, Haulah Nakhwatunnisa, Ridwan Widagdo
