Analysis of the Golden Pillars of Islamic Religious Education in Understanding Religious Values in the Village Zone (Case Study in Dudepo Village, Patilanggio Subdistrict)

This study aims to analyze the role of the golden pillar of religious education in understanding and internalizing religious values in rural communities, with a case study in Dudepo Village, Patilanggio District. The golden pillar of religious education involves three main elements: family, school, and community, which play an important role in strengthening religious understanding in rural environments. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation related to religious education in the village. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the golden pillar of religious education in Dudepo Village is able to strengthen the understanding of religious values, although there are several challenges such as limited religious education facilities and the role of the family that is not yet optimal. Factors such as support from religious figures and local government policies also affect the effectiveness of religious education in the village. This study suggests the need for increased collaboration between schools, families, and the community to create an environment that supports a deeper understanding of religious values in the village.

The Urgency of Preventing the Spread of Malaria in Marisa Village, Pohuwato District, Popayato Timur Sub-District

Thematic Social Work Lecture Program (KKS-T) of the State Islamic Religious Institution Sultan Amai Gorontalo in Marisa Village, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province, carried out socialization of malaria prevention as a form of community service based on the tridharma of higher education. This activity was motivated by the high number of malaria cases in Indonesia which reached 543,965 cases in 2024, with Marisa Village as one of the endemic areas. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach, this program involved around 50 residents in a series of activities for two days (March 25-26, 2025) which included socialization at the village office and environmental action. The results showed a significant increase in community understanding from 50% to 95% about malaria prevention, supported by the distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets and the planting of 150 stalks of citronella as a natural repellent. This program succeeded in forming a group of malaria cadres and increasing community participation in community service to clean the environment. These findings prove the effectiveness of an educational approach combined with concrete interventions (mosquito nets and mosquito repellent plants) in accordance with Manson's theory of malaria vectors, the guidelines of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, and Sitompul's (2021) research on the benefits of citronella. This program not only increases health awareness but also creates sustainable behavioral changes in malaria prevention in Marisa Village.

Synergy of Islamic Culture and Spatial Planning in Bulangita Village For Community Empowerment

The centrality of women in society has alluded to several structural dignity issues, including limited participation such as education, active and passive access in society, and patriarchal culture. In addition, the urgency of administrative services is an important issue because it is directly related to accelerating the improvement of community quality. The need for the program is not only to promote cultural and religious awareness, but also aims to improve the physical condition of the village by optimizing the use of existing space. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which involves the community in every stage of the activity to ensure a solution that suits their needs. The results of this activity show that through the active involvement of the community, especially women and youth, Bulangita village can improve the quality of education, reduce early marriage rates, and improve family economic resilience. This article illustrates the importance of collaboration between culture, religion and spatial planning in creating positive change for developing rural communities.

Get to know Tunas Jaya Village, West Popayato Sub-district, Pohuwato Regency: History, Culture and Society

This research aims to understand the socio-cultural dynamics of the Javanese transmigrant community in Tunas Jaya Village, Gorontalo. Through interviews, observations, and documentation methods, this study found that the integration process between the Javanese and Gorontalo communities has taken place naturally and peacefully. However, there are still several problems that need attention, such as the lack of local historical documentation and the decline in understanding of Javanese culture among the younger generation. This research also found harmonious forms of cultural acculturation between the Javanese and Gorontalo peoples, such as in the implementation of the tradition of salvation, marriage, and mutual cooperation. The results of this research are expected to be a reference for the development of cultural preservation and social development programs in transmigrant areas.

Babul Khairat Qur'anic Education Park (TPQ) as one of the non-formal institutions in the religious field that specialises in the development of reading the Qur'an, has a good organisational management. The research acts as a reviewer of the optimisation of the management of the Babul Khairat Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). The religious, educational, environmental and economic aspects are supported by good operational management based on its administrative nature. Through a field observation-based evaluation approach, this research found that clear identification, timely observation reports, and structured time schedules greatly support the effectiveness of work programmes. However, there are still some aspects that need improvement, especially in the management of resources in the economic and environmental fields. The results of this study provide important recommendations for improving administrative performance and work programme implementation in the future.

Actualization of Basic Islamic Values in Dambalo Village

Community service is an important step in strengthening the relationship between universities and the community. This article discusses a community service program conducted in Maleo Village, Paguat District, which aims to rebuild the interest of the younger generation in religious knowledge and practice. Through the Participation Action Research (PAR) approach, this program involves the active participation of the community, especially the younger generation, in designing and implementing religious activities that are relevant to their needs. The methods used include joint problem identification, program planning, activity implementation, and periodic evaluation and reflection. This program has succeeded in increasing the participation of the younger generation in religious activities, as well as making a significant contribution to local capacity development. The success of this program shows the importance of collaboration between universities, the community, and the government in improving the quality of life and spirituality of the community. Harmony Behind the Name; A Portrait of Religious Moderation in Suka Damai Village

This study examines the practice of religious moderation in Suka Damai Village, Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo, as a tangible representation of harmony within a multicultural society. Using a qualitative approach with participatory observation and in-depth interviews, this research captures the social dynamics that demonstrate how values such as tolerance, mutual cooperation (huyula), and local wisdom serve as the foundation for interfaith harmony. In this village, differences in religion and ethnicity are not seen as divisions, but rather as productive spaces for meaningful encounters. The challenges of the digital era are also addressed by the village youth movement, which promotes religious moderation through social media and digital literacy. This study reveals that moderation is not merely a theoretical discourse but can become a lived culture that is nurtured and passed down. Suka Damai Village stands as evidence that harmony can be sustained through the synergy of local traditions, inclusive leadership, and adaptation to changing times. These findings offer valuable insights for developing a contextual and sustainable community-based model of religious moderation.

The Role of Sociology of Religion in Maintaining Social Harmony in the Modern Era: A Case Study of the Multicultural Community of Dudewulo Village

This article discusses the role of the sociology of religion in maintaining social harmony in the modern era, focusing on a case study of the multicultural community in Dudewulo Village, Gorontalo. In the context of multicultural Indonesia, religious and cultural diversity can either be a strength or a source of conflict if not managed properly. This research employs observation and interviews to understand the patterns of inter-religious interactions and the actualization of the sociology of religion. The findings indicate that religious tolerance, multicultural education, inclusive da'wah approaches, and social justice in economic practices significantly contribute to social stability. Religious education plays a crucial role in strengthening social solidarity, while transparency and accountability in sharia accounting enhance trust among groups. The study reveals that collaboration among religious leaders, local government, and the community is key to maintaining harmony among religious groups. With the right approach, the challenges of modernization and globalization can be addressed, allowing multicultural societies like Dudewulo Village to continue living harmoniously.
