Abstract

Abstract :

Community service activities through the Kuliah Kerja Sosial (KKS) program aim to provide students with opportunities to apply academic knowledge while contributing directly to society. This article describes the implementation of KKS activities carried out in Putiana Village, Anggrek District, Gorontalo Utara Regency. The program was conducted using a participatory and collaborative approach involving village officials, youth organizations, educational institutions, and local communities. Various programs were implemented during the service period, including the Mopomulo village greening program, socialization of anti-bullying, sexual violence prevention, and religious moderation, as well as educational activities such as introducing hijaiyah letters using environmentally friendly learning media. In addition, students also participated in community-based activities such as Friday clean-up programs, Qur’an learning assistance at TPQ, and organizing community competitions under the theme of religious harmony and sportsmanship in celebration of Putiana Village’s anniversary. These activities were designed to strengthen community awareness in social, educational, environmental, and religious aspects while encouraging active community participation. The results of the program indicate that collaboration between students, village officials, and the community plays an important role in the successful implementation of community service activities and contributes to strengthening social cohesion and collective awareness within the village.
