MOPOMULO: REINTERPRETASI GERAKAN MENANAM DALAM PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

ABSTRACT

Mopomulo is a regional development program in North Gorontalo Regency that is not only oriented to ecological planting activities, but also has the potential to become a medium for planting social and religious values in the community. This study aims to describe the implementation of Mopomulo as a socio-ecological movement, analyze its integration with the Magrib Mengaji Movement (GMM) as a non-formal religious education medium, and examine the role of KKS-T IAIN SMART students in the process of internalizing religious values in Monano Village.

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that Mopomulo functions as a social learning space that encourages community participation and ecological awareness, while GMM is an effective means of reading the Qur'an and instilling disciplinary values and manners. The integration of the two programs, with the support of students as facilitators, resulted in a contextual, participatory, and sustainable model of social practice-based religious education.
