Abstract

The implementation of the Integrated Social Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Sosial Terpadu/KKS-T) by students of IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo in Huidu Melito Village, Tomilito District, North Gorontalo Regency, represents a form of community service carried out over approximately 40 days. The program began with the departure process and formal reception by the village community, followed by the execution of various structured work programs based on local needs. The implemented programs covered the fields of education, religion, social affairs, and environmental empowerment. These included teaching and learning activities in schools, anti-bullying socialization, the Maghrib Mengaji program, routine community service (gotong royong), and a flagship program called Mopomulo, which focused on environmental greening and the productive use of land. The implementation method employed participatory and collaborative approaches, actively involving the community in every stage of the programs. In addition, supporting activities such as the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) for early-age participants were conducted to strengthen religious values and foster the younger generation. The results of this program indicate an increase in community participation, strengthened social relations, and tangible contributions from students in supporting sustainable village development. Overall, the implementation of KKS-T IAIN SMART not only generated positive impacts for the community but also served as a contextual learning medium for students in understanding social realities directly. Therefore, this program is expected to provide sustainable benefits and further strengthen the synergy between higher education institutions and society.
