Abstract

SDN 3 Telaga has programmed extracurricular activities, that is eradicating illiteracy in the Qur'an. This is an urgent matter that must be implemented, because before the Iqra Talaqi method program was launched, there were still many students who graduated from SDN 3 Telaga who were unable to read the Qur'an well, some were even illiterate in the Qur'an. This research method uses a phenomenological approach so that it starts with maintaining and examining the focus of the phenomenon to be studied, which looks at various subjective aspects of object behavior. The subjects in this study were PAI teachers. The results of the study found that the application of the Iqra Talaqi method in overcoming difficulties in reading the Qur'an at SDN 3 Telaga was carried out in several steps, namely: introduction of hijaiyah letters through direct reading without spelling, using the Iqra Talaqi method with a private system, classical system, guidance on reading Al-Qur'an. Qur'an with the correct tajwid and makhraj, as well as evaluation related to the process and its capabilities.
