<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p>Second language educators in this modern age are granted with limitless digital learning platforms to be further integrated into their habitual writing classroom activities. For this reason, they need to embrace this learning aspiration by constantly internalizing a wide variety of technological tools promoting holistic educational rewards among EFL learners. This small-scale library study aimed to investigate the impacts of Canva media on the continual advancement of Indonesian EFL learners’ writing proficiency levels. To achieve this major study objective, the researcher plotted a thematic analysis while analyzing some relevant findings from 30 previous Canva media and writing scientific articles forming in varied reputable national journal article platforms. A thematic analysis was useful in yielding more accurate research results since the researcher obtained more nuanced insights concerning the research areas that were specifically investigated. Based on the thematic analysis, the researcher deduced that Canva media was beneficial in supporting Indonesian EFL learners in making smoother writing transitions among the shared ideas and gradually shifting them into more ingenious writers. </p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: Digital media; Canva; EFL learners; library study; thematic analysis.</p>Kristian Florensio Wijaya

<p>The focus of teaching strategies used to increase students’ vocabulary understanding has shifted from teaching methods and techniques. Through a retrospective study, the purpose of this research is to observe the strategies employed by educators, particularly the use of the blooket platform to enhance students’ vocabulary mastery. The researcher employed descriptive methodology, qualitative research techniques, and questionnaire design for this study. One of the tools used in research is the Google Form survey. In this study, 10 language teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri were specifically asked questions about vocabulary. According to the study findings, students’ can increase their vocabulary mastery by utilizing the teachers method of using the blooket platform to teach vocabulary. Students’ will acquire new words more successfully if the teacher uses a wider variety of teaching methods. The next step is to categorize teaching strategies into three groups practice, preparation, and evaluation. <p>Several regional languages spoken in the province of North Sulawesi are listed as endangered, including the Mongondow language. Nonetheless, Mongondownese who have learned English find themselves in a difficult situation because they are expected to become fluent in English without losing their native tongue skills. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the conditions of usage of the Mongondownese English Education pupils, the causes of conditions, as well as the policies and appropriate solutions to this problem. This qualitative study discovered numerous alternatives can be used, including policies pertaining to the educational sector, documentation and research, community involvement, institutional assistance, and political and legal policies.</p>Andiani Rezkita Nabu

<p>This study aims to find out the students of Islamic communication and broadcasting department need in English subject. Currently, the students are taught the General English therefore, it makes the researcher conduct the research to reveal their need in ESP. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The participants are 40 students and 1 lecturer of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Department of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The data was taken from questionnaire to students and interview to the lecturer which covers topic needed and teaching method. <p>This systematic literature review examines the implementation of digital transformation in tourism and hospitality education through an analysis of 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019-2024. The study employs a rigorous methodological approach involving systematic database searches, strict inclusion-exclusion criteria, and qualitative content analysis to identify key themes, implementation challenges, and strategic recommendations. The findings reveal a significant disparity in digital transformation implementation between developed and developing nations. While developed countries primarily focus on optimizing technological utilization and pedagogical innovation, developing nations face fundamental challenges including inadequate infrastructure and pronounced digital divides. The analysis identifies several development opportunities, including enhanced learning flexibility, improved digital literacy, and the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and IoT in tourism education. The study's practical implications emphasize the importance of establishing robust digital frameworks, implementing comprehensive educator training programs, and adapting curricula to achieve an optimal balance between technological and practical learning components. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of digital transformation in tourism education while suggesting future research directions to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of hybrid learning models across various geographical and socio-economic contexts. <p>This study aims to describe the implementation of teaching English based on the Merdeka curriculum at SMPN 1 Gorontalo. It answers those questions, namely curriculum structure, learning achievement, learning and assessment, use of teaching devices. This research used descriptive qualitative method by using observation sheets, unstructured interview. It also documented RPS, lesson material, and students’ assignment. The data was analyzed through data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The results of this study showed that the implementation of Merdeka curriculum in teaching English at SMPN 1 Gorontalo was in accordance with the provisions or regulations contained in the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Republic of Indonesia number 262/M/2022.</p> <p> </p>Meylan PontohHarni JusufEnni Akhmad
