AkaseMeityaakase@gmail.com
Background: This research is based on the importance of vocabulary mastery as an indicator of language learning success. Learning Arabic at Alhijrah Kindergarten, which uses flashcards too often, causes student boredom. With interactive features like videos, animations, and links, Google Slides offers a more engaging and fun alternative to vocabulary learning.

Purpose: This study aims to test the effectiveness of using Google Slides in improving students’ mastery of Arabic vocabulary in Alhijrah Islamic Kindergarten.

Method: This research design is a quantitative experiment that tests the effectiveness of Google Slides on the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of Alhijrah Islamic Kindergarten students.

Result and Discussion: The results showed a significant increase in students’ vocabulary mastery after using Google Slides, with an average posttest score of 80.75 compared to the average pretest score of 47.75. In the experimental class, the average value difference between the pretest and the posttest was -28,250, with a standard deviation of 11,271. As for the control class, the average score difference between the pretest and the posttest was -10,000, with a standard deviation of 6,283. The output results of the paired sample test showed that the significance value (p-value) was 0.000. Because the value obtained from 0.000 was less than 0.05, it can be concluded that Google Slides effectively improves students’ vocabulary mastery.

Conclusion and Implications: Google Slides has proven effective in improving the mastery of Arabic vocabulary in Alhijrah Islamic Kindergarten. Students significantly improve their remembering and understanding of new vocabulary through its interactive and multimedia features, contributing to their Arabic language skills. As a research implication, Alhijrah Islamic Kindergarten teachers should regularly integrate Google Slides in learning Arabic vocabulary to create more interactive learning.
2025-04-04T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nuranisa Isima, Annisa Raina Khairani, Eka Meitya P. Data were sourced from Qur’anic verses containing nominal sentences, selected through purposive sampling of 20 verses that demonstrate the mugāyarah phenomenon. The primary instrument was classical Arabic linguistic analysis, supported by AntConc software to visualize word distribution. Data analysis was conducted through syntactic and semantic approaches grounded in classical Arabic linguistic theory and tafsir.

Results and Discussion: The findings reveal that mugāyarah in the relationship between mubtada’ and khabar functions as a rhetorical and semantic strategy that enhances the message of the verses, rather than constituting a grammatical anomaly. These grammatical variations highlight the richness of Qur’anic linguistic structures and address a gap in linguistic studies concerning semantically valid deviations.

Conclusions and Implications: This study concludes that mugāyarah enriches the meaning and adds deeper linguistic dimensions to the Qur’an. The findings of this research strengthen the relevance of case grammar theory in analyzing the logical structure (semantic structure) of complex sentences. The application of propositional case roles such as agentive, experiencer, benefactive, objective, and location in nouns and case frames in verbs proved effective in revealing meaning relationships in Arabic news texts. This indicates that case grammar theory has cross-linguistic flexibility and can be applied to Semitic languages including Arabic. Understanding the semantic roles in sentences can help Arabic learners interpret texts more critically, especially in journalistic literature that are rich in information construction. In addition, language practitioners such as translators, journalists, and teachers can utilize this approach to deepen their understanding of implicit meanings in news texts. In addition, this research offers room for more extensive further research, such as the application of case grammar theory to non-news texts such as literary texts, religious texts, or academic texts in Arabic.
2025-04-15T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Dwiki Kusuma, Edi Komarudin, Dayudin Dayudinhttps://ejournal.iaingorontalo.ac.id/index.php/ELOQUENCE/article/view/2684The Evaluation of Arabic Teaching Materials: Principles and Evaluation Techniques 2025-04-28T09:42:59+08:00Latifatul Musyarrofahlatifahmusyarrofah123@gmail.com
Background: Arabic language teaching materials at MTs Al-Fakhriyah require careful evaluation to ensure their effectiveness in supporting the learning process.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate Arabic teaching materials by examining the principles and evaluation techniques applied.

Method: This research uses a literature review design with a concept analysis approach.
